Jacob Vigdor
Jacob Vigdor joined the Duke faculty in 1999, having received his Ph.D.
in economics from Harvard University the same year. He holds joint
appointments in the Department of Economics and the Sanford Institute of
Public Policy. His primary research interests are in the fields of urban
economics and public finance. His active research projects focus on racial and ethnic
segregation, selective migration, property taxes and tax limitations, and
regional economic development.
