Updated May 2013

I am an Associate Professor
(with tenure) in the Dept of Economics at Duke University and
Faculty Research Fellow of the NBER.
My recent research covers several areas of empirical Industrial
Organization. Particular interests include:
* the effects of selective entry on auction design and competition
policy
* the effects of horizontal mergers and taxes on product
characteristics
* the dynamics of markets for perishable goods
* the estimation of static and dynamic games with multiple
equilibria or selection
